Who we are.

We are a group of photographers located in Ottawa, Canada, who are dedicated to advancing the art and craft of photography with respect to creativity and lasting value of this popular, expressive medium.

We are committed to this goal through continuing education, mentoring, propagating innovative ideas and bringing new photographic works to the public through exhibitions, presentations, seminars and workshops. The group comprises nine photographers with a variety of backgrounds and interests.

Besides getting together, drinking beer and making fun of each other every occasional Wednesday, we actually try to be productive in advancing the medium of photography.

We accomplish this by:

> Developing personal bodies of photographic work

> Exhibiting this work around Ottawa and area

> Studying the work of other photographers

> Organizing photography related events including seminars and workshops

> Mentoring other photographers

What we do.

The group meets occasionally at the Armada Lounge, inside the Brig Pub in the Byward Market, Ottawa, Canada. Inquiries about the group should be directed via email to questions@DanteWasHere.com.
